Apptronik is seeking a Staff Wire Harness Engineer to own the interconnect architecture that enables Apollo’s movement, sensing, and thinking. You will define power and data distribution, set standards for E-CAD workflows, and guide routing across high-DOF joints while ensuring mass production readiness.

You will lead cross-functional design reviews, drive DFx initiatives, and oversee reliability analyses to mitigate hidden failure modes in complex electrical systems.

Formación

• Requires bachelor’s or master’s in EE/ME/Robotics with 8+ years in complex electromechanical systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of high-speed data and high-power distribution in compact harnesses.
• Ability to design, document, and validate harness architectures for mass production and serviceability.

Responsabilidades

• Define top-level electrical distribution strategy for the robot and grounding/shielding.
• Lead harness routing across high-DOF joints with lifecycle models and material selection.
• Standardize E-CAD workflows, libraries, and drawings; lead tooling selection (E3, Capital, etc.).
• Bridge EE, mechanical, and manufacturing to optimize connectors, density, mass, and thermal performance.
• Drive DfX initiatives to reduce harness complexity, part count, and assembly time.
