Job summary

WOW! in Denver is seeking an Engineer III to lead Windows and virtualization infrastructure across multiple datacenters. You will work hands-on with Windows Server, Active Directory, storage, and backup technologies to design, implement, and operate scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with NOC, networking, and security teams to deliver reliable systems and support disaster recovery planning while guiding junior engineers toward best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with Windows Server and virtualization.
• Expertise with Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory architecture.
• Experience with VDI and modern storage/backups (Veeam is a plus).
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and data center technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage compute, storage, and software across datacenters and environments.
• Create and configure datacenter sites and retrofit existing locations.
• Maintain and scale virtualization clusters and capacity planning.
• Assist in monitoring solutions, fault analysis, and recovery actions.
• Collaborate with networks, security, and other teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Document systems design and operational procedures; mentor colleagues.
