Job summary

Wideopenwest Networks, LLC is seeking an Engineer III for Windows and Virtualization Infrastructure in Denver. You will design, implement, and support Windows Server, AD, and virtualization across multiple datacenters, focusing on reliability, scalability, and future readiness.

You’ll lead compute/storage initiatives, manage virtualization clusters, and partner with networking/security to deliver enterprise-grade solutions. Strong communication and mentoring are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with enterprise Windows Server and virtualization.
• Expertise with Windows Server operating systems and AD administration.
• Knowledge of VDI, storage, and backup solutions; Veeam a plus.
• Strong TCP/IP networking fundamentals and datacenter experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage compute, storage, and software across datacenter sites.
• Design, implement, and maintain virtualization clusters and capacity planning.
• Integrate new technologies and maintain monitoring and recovery workflows.
• Collaborate with networking and security to deliver enterprise solutions.
• Document systems, configurations, and future technology directions.
• Mentor colleagues and support on-call and production needs.
