Job summary

CDW is seeking a Senior System Administrator to support Windows-based infrastructure in a secure federal environment. The role requires hands-on administration, proactive performance optimization, and TS/SCI clearance.

You will manage Active Directory and group policies, patching, configuration baselines, and secure build processes, collaborating with cybersecurity and engineering teams to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required at hire.
• 8+ years of systems administration or enterprise IT experience.
• Strong experience with Windows Server and Windows workstations.
• Experience with Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and domain services.

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and desktop environments.
• Manage AD, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, user accounts and domain controllers.
• Perform patching, vulnerability remediation, and hardening per baselines.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell or other scripting tools.
• Support secure/classified environments and maintain change documentation.
• Coordinate with security, network, and engineering teams.
