Job summary

World Wide Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Microsoft SME to lead the End User Core Build for the Navy Enterprise Network. You will manage Windows desktop builds, ensure security baselines, and align with DoD standards.

You will collaborate with TAP and DISA SHB processes, maintain IDs and accreditation documents, and guide the team on enterprise-grade image delivery and testing. Remote nationwide capability is available for highly qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Secret clearance with DoD/DON experience required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required.
• ITIL v3 Foundation preferred.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience with SCCM/MECM and WSUS.
• Knowledge of Windows Server platforms 2012 R2 - 2019.
• Strong communication skills and Windows/AD expertise.
• Understanding of COTS and GOTS applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain Windows desktop core build ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with DISA SHB and TAP programs to beta test and influence future builds.
• Maintain vendor relationships and support contracts.
• Manage End User Core Images across current and future OS.
• Prepare monthly core image releases and ensure distribution.
• Create and update 5-year Core Build Plan documentation.
• Develop mitigation plans for compatibility issues and IA settings.
• Present issue reports and mitigations to leadership.
• Ensure accreditation documentation is current and accurate.
• Standardize core build methodologies and optimize delivery.
• Provide technical support, possibly after-hours or on-call.
