Job summary

World Wide Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Government Services team.

The role focuses on designing, deploying, hardening, and sustaining Windows and Linux environments using IaC (Ansible, Python, JSON) and VMware technologies to support Navy and DoD missions. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, clear communication, and proven problem-solving ability in technically challenging, classified environments with a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, or related field with 3-5 years of experience.
• IAT Level II (e.g., Security+) or equivalent security certification.
• Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, RHCSA/RHCE preferred.
• Strong encryption, VPN, firewall, and MDM experience.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation: Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks/roles, Python scripts, and JSON templates to automate provisioning and patching.
• Test Automation Frameworks: Deploy a Test Automation Framework using Python and data formats like JSON/XML for Robot Framework.
• System Administration: Manage Windows Server and Linux systems with STIG compliance and high availability.
• VMware/NsX-T: Deploy and manage VMware vSphere and VMware Cloud Foundation stacks including vCenter, ESXi, and vSAN.
