Job summary

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, seeks an IT Systems Engineer to support on-prem IT infrastructures in virtualized environments and to deliver enterprise cybersecurity services in dev/test/prod environments. You will assist with storage, backup, monitoring, and security hardening while developing SOPs, docs, and test plans.

Responsibilities include design and deployment of infrastructure services, DISA STIG compliance, and cross-team collaboration to ensure reliable operations and security

Qualifications

• 10 years of Windows Server engineering experience with deployment, migration, and lifecycle management.
• Experience deploying core services in large-scale virtualized infrastructures with HA and storage dependencies.
• Strong AD/PKI/Certificate Authority (AD CS) experience and robust DNS design.
• Understanding identity management, PAM, and secure delegation principles.
• Experience hardening enterprise environments with DISA STIGs and automated remediation.
• Ability to track, manage, and deliver multiple projects across environments.
• Minimum of a 4 yr Engineering Degree.

Responsibilities

• Requirements development, analysis and trade studies.
• Design storage to support virtual deployments of applications.
• Build, configure and deploy monitoring in highly virtualized environments.
• Implement DISA STIG profiles for new infrastructure solutions.
• Provide strategy for infrastructure initiatives and ensure smooth operations transition.
• Experience with monitoring tools like ScienceLogic or HP OpenView.
• Work with network storage and backup solutions.
• Use ticketing systems and provide Tier II or higher support.
• Collaborate independently and in teams to resolve issues.
