Job summary

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to support on-prem IT infrastructures in virtualized environments. The role focuses on enterprise cybersecurity services, system optimization, and robust monitoring in dev/test/prod environments.

You will oversee storage, backups, and security patching, while delivering documentation and SOPs. A Secret clearance and extensive engineering background are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Windows Server engineering experience (deployment, migration, lifecycle).
• Experience deploying core services in large virtualized infra (clustering, HA, virtual storage/networks).
• Proven AD/PKI/AD CS deployment and robust DNS architectures.
• Understanding of identity management: least privilege, PAM, secure delegation.
• Experience hardening enterprise environments using DISA STIGs with remediation tools.
• Ability to manage multiple parallel projects and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements and conduct trade studies for infrastructure.
• Design storage for virtual deployments and scalable apps.
• Build, configure, and deploy monitoring across virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Implement DISA STIG compliance for new infra components.
• Provide technical oversight and execution strategy across initiatives.
• Support documentation: SOPs, procedures, diagrams, test plans.
