Job summary

VTG seeks an experienced Windows Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Windows-based infrastructure and enterprise cybersecurity platforms in a mission-focused environment. You will support endpoint security operations and threat detection, ensuring system availability and compliance across complex enterprises.

The role requires deep experience with Trellix ENS/ePO/EDR/TIE/DXL, DLP, and Active Directory, plus cloud exposure (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph required.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
16+ years of experience in systems engineering, cybersecurity engineering, or Windows/Linux administration.
Experience with Trellix security platforms (ENS, ePO, EDR, TIE, DXL).
Experience with Data Loss Prevention and network monitoring solutions.
Strong Active Directory administration and troubleshooting background.
Experience with enterprise databases, virtualization, cloud services (AWS, Azure).
Ability to quickly develop expertise with Trellix platforms.
Familiarity with cyber threat identification, mitigation, and incident response.

Responsibilities

Administer Windows and Linux systems in enterprise environments.
Deploy, configure, and maintain Trellix security tools (ENS, ePO, EDR, TIE, DXL).
Support DLP solutions and network monitoring capabilities.
Manage Active Directory architecture and troubleshooting.
Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats with enterprise tools.
Plan and implement new system architectures; modernize legacy infra.
Tune systems for performance and availability; perform RCA and log reviews.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align security posture with mission requirements.
Monitor system health and performance to ensure operational readiness.
