Job summary

Samsung SDS America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise messaging and directory services. You will manage Exchange environments, DAGs, mail flow, replication, and archiving solutions, including Enterprise Vault and Barracuda.

This role supports patching, upgrades, and ITIL change processes in a 24/7 on-call environment. The candidate will work with business and technical teams to improve system performance,

Qualifications

• 8-10 years’ experience as a Windows system administrator and Active Directory/Exchange engineer.
• Experience in planning, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory environments.
• Experience with Email Archiving Systems, Barracuda Message Archiver, Enterprise Vault, Exchange Native Archiving.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.
• Experience with Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022.
• Strong understanding of ITIL Change Management Process.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, document, test, troubleshoot and deploy IT system solutions related to Exchange (Exchange 2013/2016/2019/SE).
• Configure MS Exchange infrastructure to maintain a stable, secure, highly available email environment.
• Maintain DAGs, replication, backup & restore, Free/Busy, Address Book Policies, Mail Flow, certificates.
• Update and maintain Active Directory DNS.
• Deploy and manage AD forests, domains, and AD Certificate Services.
• Configure and maintain Group Policies and troubleshoot replication/logon issues.
• Maintain and support Email archives for end users and compliance.
• Provide tier 3 end user support and 24x7 uptime & on-call rotation.
