RTX in El Segundo, CA seeks a Principal Windows Systems Administrator to manage Windows and Linux environments onsite. You will lead storage appliances, coordinate with cybersecurity, and document complex IT processes while maintaining strict DoD/RMF controls. A Top Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Active Top Secret clearance required prior to start date.
• Experience administering, maintaining and troubleshooting storage appliances (NetApp, iSCSI, NAS, SAN).
• Experience administering backups (Veritas NetBackup, BackupExec, Veeam).
• VMware virtualization experience (VDS, hardening).
• Microsoft Windows administration experience.
• Preferred: Exchange/SmarterMail, Fabric switches, Linux, Splunk, Nessus, Symantec, SCCM, Visio diagramming, and knowledge of NISPOM/JAFAN/JSIG/DFARS/DoD/RMF.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in a Windows and RHEL environment.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced setting to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Work with Cybersecurity to maintain security requirements and provide documentation.
• Lead all storage appliances in classified networks.
• Troubleshoot IT issues and provide effective resolutions.
• Develop solutions and documentation for technical problems.
