Job summary

Venatôre, a Tampa, FL-based government contractor, seeks a Systems Administrator to manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and PKI. You will automate tasks with PowerShell, implement Group Policy, and maintain security posture across enterprise infrastructure.

The role includes mentoring junior admins, supporting infrastructure modernization, and collaborating with cross-functional IT teams to meet command requirements.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance is required.
• Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 certification.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation of repetitive systems administration tasks.
• Experience in systems administration and enterprise infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Understanding of certificate lifecycle management.
• Experience with Group Policy administration and security remediation.
• Ability to document configurations and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, configure, administer, and maintain Windows Server environments and domain infrastructure.
• Manage core Microsoft services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, AD Sites and Services, and Trusts.
• Create and manage privileged service accounts in accordance with security requirements.
• Monitor and tune system performance to maintain reliability, availability, and operational effectiveness.
• Install and maintain enterprise software and coordinate the implementation of critical OS and application patches.
• Schedule, plan, coordinate, and oversee system upgrades and infrastructure changes.
• Develop, maintain, and execute PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.
• Document scripts, automated workflows, dependencies, and procedures.
• Develop and troubleshoot PKI and certificate management.
• Troubleshoot complex system, server, infrastructure, performance, security, and availability issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior administrators.
