Job summary

Venatôre LLC in Tampa, FL seeks a seasoned Systems Administrator with PowerShell scripting and Windows Server expertise to manage and enhance enterprise infrastructure. You will administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and certificate lifecycle, while automating tasks and mentoring junior staff.

The role requires a U.S. Government Secret clearance, DoD 8140/8570 certification, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance is required.
• Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation of repetitive tasks.
• Proven experience in systems administration and enterprise infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Experience with certificate lifecycle management and PKI administration.
• Experience developing, implementing, and administering Group Policy, including security remediation.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex server, infrastructure, performance, security, and availability issues.
• Ability to document configurations, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, configure, administer, and maintain Windows Server environments and domain infrastructure.
• Manage core Microsoft services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and AD Sites and Services.
• Create and manage privileged/service accounts in line with security requirements.
• Monitor and optimize system performance for reliability and availability.
• Install and patch enterprise software and coordinate OS upgrades.
• Plan and oversee system upgrades and infrastructure changes.
• Develop, maintain, and execute PowerShell scripts to automate admin tasks.
• Document scripts, workflows, dependencies, and admin procedures.
• Implement Group Policy changes to meet resource and security needs.
• Support PKI activities including certificate issuance, renewal, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues and coordinate with vendors.
• Produce reports and data sets to support management visibility.
