Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Windows System Administrator to support a complex, fast-paced program. The role requires TS/SCI eligibility and a minimum Secret clearance, with 75% remote work and occasional travel to Warner Robins AFB, GA.

You will manage Windows/Linux infrastructure, Active Directory, and security controls within a DoD framework. Responsibilities include monitoring, deployment, and performance optimization, plus mentoring junior staff and producing documentation to sustain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field with 12+ years experience or equivalent.
• 7+ years Windows systems administration experience, 3+ years in senior/lead role.
• 5+ years with Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy and core Windows services.
• Active TS/SCI eligibility or ability to obtain TS/SCI within 365 days.
• Strong Hyper-V, VMs, clustering, storage; Windows Server 2022/2025.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and administer systems, applications, and processes; identify and resolve issues.
• Support servers, security management, performance optimization for Windows/Linux environments.
• Lead installation, administration, and troubleshooting of Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMs, and storage.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, NPS, PKI; oversee backups, DR, monitoring.
• Drive vulnerability remediation, STIG compliance, and RMF/ATO activities with cybersecurity teams.
• Develop technical documentation, SOPs, diagrams, and recovery procedures.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate across engineering, cybersecurity, and program teams.
