Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Windows System Administrator to join our team supporting a complex, fast-paced DoD program. The role requires a minimum Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI and entails monitoring and administering a mixed Windows/Linux environment across a broad geographic footprint.

The position is 75% remote with travel to Warner Robins AFB, GA; ideal candidate resides in the Robins travel region.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of Windows systems administration experience, including 3+ years in senior/tech lead role.
5+ years with Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and core Windows services.
Active Top Secret/SCI (or ability to obtain TS/SCI within 365 days).
Strong experience with Microsoft Hyper-V, VMs, clustering, storage, and Windows Server 2022/2025.
Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls.
PowerShell scripting, automation, Windows CLI.
Monitoring, logging, patch management, backups, DR, endpoint security.
Vulnerability scanning, IAVA remediation, STIG, system hardening.
DoD cybersecurity requirements: NIST SP 800-53, RMF, security config standards.
Ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

Monitor and administer systems, applications, and processes; identify and resolve issues promptly.
Support servers and perform security management and performance optimization.
Lead design, implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise IT infrastructure.
Install, administer, and troubleshoot Windows Server, Linux, Hyper-V clusters, VMs, and storage.
