Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator III to support mission critical infrastructure for the U.S. Navy Fleet Command in Naples, Italy. You will administer and maintain Windows server environments, enterprise services, and secure operations to ensure high availability.

The ideal candidate will have extensive Microsoft tech experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and ability to support global operations with secure Windows environments. Travel to CONUS/OCONUS may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 5+ years.
Active TS/SCI clearance (DISS).
Active Security+ certification and an active Windows Server certification.
Extensive experience with AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Azure Cloud, RD Services, VMware, and Windows Server services.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Administer and manage Windows Server environments and Microsoft enterprise services.
Monitor and troubleshoot servers, applications, and OS daily.
Perform performance tuning and hardware upgrades for reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex Windows Server issues.
Research, document, and recommend new system technologies and improvements.
Review and implement IAVAs and IAVBs.
Install, configure, secure, maintain, document, and administer SQL databases.
Support global operations by maintaining secure Windows infrastructure.
Travel may be required to support Navy commands CONUS/OCONUS.
