Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and modernize a Windows-based application. This remote role requires living within roughly 70 miles of Allen, TX, with a hybrid work arrangement. Salary ranges from $105,900 to $145,000, depending on location and experience.

You will lead and contribute across the full software lifecycle, from analysis through testing, while maintaining code quality, security, and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of software development experience.
• Experience with C++, Windows programming (MFC), C#, and WPF.
• Experience integrating embedded web technologies such as CefSharp and WebView2.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Performs and may lead system analysis and programming activities delivering software into production.
• Develops, tests and reviews applications based on requirements and best practices.
• Collaborates with QA and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Creates technical documentation and participates in defining standards.
