Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) seeks a Senior Technical Solutions Architect to define and build go-to-market solutions for Windows Server, Hyper‑V, and Azure Local. You will lead customer workshops, advise on architecture and operations, and serve as a credible SME across Microsoft virtualization environments.

The role partners with Softchoice to enable co-selling motions. The position requires 5+ years in virtualization, strong technical hands-on experience, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in architecting, implementing, or selling Windows Server and virtualization solutions.
• Hands-on SME experience with Windows Server and Hyper-V, including design and deployment.
• Familiarity with Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) or ability to ramp quickly.
• Strong communication, written, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support to win new logos and grow existing customer relationships on Windows Server and Hyper‑V.
• Lead customer workshops and executive briefings on architecture and platform strategy.
• Act as SME for Windows Server/Hyper‑V; contribute to Azure Local engagements as needed.
• Create technical marketing collateral and reference architectures for field teams.
• Collaborate with GS&A, services, sales, and partners to advance virtualization solutions.
• Partner with Softchoice on co-selling motions.
• Train staff and partners on Windows and virtualization architectures.
• Maintain certifications to sustain partner status and specializations.
