Job summary
Aptuity Solutions Inc. is seeking a Windows Engineering Manager to lead enterprise desktop and endpoint strategies in Plano, TX or Reston, VA. This full-time role centers on modernizing Windows deployments across a large, hybrid environment.
The ideal candidate brings deep Windows expertise, SCCM/MECM and Intune mastery, VDI knowledge, and leadership for thousands of endpoints while driving automation and OS migrations.
Qualifications
- 6 years of experience in IT engineering.
- 5+ years in enterprise desktop or end-user computing with leadership responsibilities.
- Hands-on Windows expertise in large enterprise environments.
- Expert-level experience with SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune.
- Strong understanding of VDI and remote computing technologies.
- Automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or similar.
- Strong endpoint security and desktop networking knowledge.
- Experience leading enterprise testing strategies, pilot programs, and vendor evaluations.
- Leadership experience supporting thousands of endpoints across multiple locations and hybrid work models.
- Direct experience with Windows 365 Cloud PC, Autopilot, Intune-first strategies, or major OS migrations.
