Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Principal of Software Engineering to lead Windows on Snapdragon software, defining features, architecture, and lifecycle from concept to deployment for Windows OS on Snapdragon platforms.

You will guide cross-functional teams, drive system BIOS/UEFI/ACPI initiatives, ensure security and performance, and mentor engineers while collaborating with OEMs, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in a related field with 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years of programming with C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Deep Windows OS, kernel, drivers, APIs knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Windows platform development on Snapdragon.
• Lead Windows features and subsystems to meet product requirements and feasibility.
• Drive System BIOS, UEFI, ACPI, drivers, and OS compatibility initiatives.
• Identify risks, ensure security, compliance, and robust performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, OEMs, and partners; mentor engineers.
• Research requirements and prototype new approaches; contribute to roadmaps.
