Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Windows Kernel Developer to enhance data protection on the sensor and cloud components. You’ll work across kernel and user space on Windows, designing features that monitor data access and AI-driven activity.

The role is hybrid and based in multiple US offices, with a strong emphasis on AI-aware development and collaboration across teams to stop breaches and protect customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent kernel-mode development experience in Windows (C/C++).
• Proven experience developing in both kernel mode and user mode on Windows.
• Strong understanding of the Windows filesystem filter model and minifilter interfaces.
• Experience with kernel-level debugging and IPC between kernel and user space.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data protection features across kernel and user-mode Windows components.
• Build AI-aware detection and protection logic for data access and movement.
• Own features from design to delivery, including post-ship support.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams across locations and apply AI-assisted tools.
