Job summary

Conduent is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain secure, stable, and high-performing technology environments. You will support provisioning, configuration, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of systems, servers, tools, and related infrastructure.

You will work with application, database, security, network, and development teams to keep environments stable, secure, and ready for ongoing modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of five years of systems administration or infrastructure support experience.
• Experience with Windows Server administration.
• Experience with IIS and web/application server support.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, TFS, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Active Directory, Okta, SSO, MFA, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with SQL Server or relational database support.
• Experience with batch scheduling and operational job support.
• Experience with REST APIs, API gateways, and messaging platforms.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain Windows Server environments and supporting tools.
• Support web and application server environments, including IIS and configuration files.
• Monitor availability, performance, logs, storage, and environment health.
• Troubleshoot server, application, network, database connectivity, and deployment issues.
• Assist with backups, disaster recovery, patching, upgrades, and service recovery.
• Create and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or similar tools.
• Support DevOps tooling and deployment automation (Azure DevOps, TFS, Git).
• Assist with authentication/authorization technologies and API integration.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.
