Job summary

Hudson River Trading is seeking a Windows endpoint engineer to join the Enterprise Engineering team in New York. The role focuses on scaling and automating our global Windows endpoint fleet, improving platform reliability, and reducing operational overhead while delivering new endpoint capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Microsoft technology engineer or similar role.
• Experience managing Windows endpoint lifecycles with Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID and AD.
• Hands-on experience with Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop and Hyper-V-based VDI.
• Proficient in configuring/troubleshooting Citrix platforms and Windows endpoints.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills and automation tool development.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with IaC, monitoring tools, security best practices, and high availability.
• Self-motivated with a collaborative, customer-focused work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the endpoint management platform, including configuration, deployment, policy enforcement, and lifecycle automation across the Windows fleet.
• Automate provisioning and management of on-premises and cloud-hosted VDI, including Citrix remote access.
• Identify and remediate inefficiencies across Windows endpoints, infrastructure, and Azure resources.
• Develop PowerShell-based systems to automate tasks and improve reliability.
• Participate in ongoing engineering, maintenance, and support to improve the Windows environment.
