Job summary

Clutch Canada is seeking a Windows Application Developer to lead the design and development of native Windows desktop applications in a fully distributed team. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience in Windows desktop application development using modern frameworks like Windows App SDK and WinUI, along with a strong understanding of accessibility APIs. This role offers a salary range of $140,000 to $200,000 per year plus bonuses and stock options, emphasizing a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Windows desktop application development using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML.
• Deep understanding of Windows application architecture, including interop between managed and native code.
• Strong experience with accessibility APIs and dedication to building inclusive software.
• Proven track record of designing and shipping production-quality desktop applications.
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals including OOP, data structures, algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications.
• Define best practices for Windows desktop development across the codebase.
• Drive accessibility efforts and validate support for accessibility APIs.
• Collaborate with product designers and stakeholders for feature planning.
• Take ownership of the full lifecycle of features.
