Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator in St. Louis, MO to design, manage, and optimize Windows servers and cloud infrastructure. The role emphasizes security, scalability, and high-availability across DoD/IC environments, with hands-on experience in RMF, STIG, and vulnerability remediation.

The successful candidate will lead system upgrades, automation, and incident response, collaborating with cross-functional teams while meeting mission requirements and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s with 6+ years of experience.
• 8+ years of enterprise systems administration experience.
• Experience in DoD/IC environments and RMF/DIa/STIG compliance.
• Strong Windows Server, VMware vSphere, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy administration.
• Scripting/automation with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows/Linux servers and cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor health, performance, and availability using enterprise tools.
• Develop automation scripts to improve operations.
• Support accreditation activities and ensure RMF/STIG compliance.
• Perform backup, recovery, and DR operations.
