Chenega MIOS is seeking a Solutions Engineer in Arlington, VA to design and implement Linux and Windows enterprise systems, secure infrastructure, and automation pipelines. The role spans architecture and hands-on implementation across secure, classified environments, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to align engineering with mission needs.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in systems engineering or security engineering, DoD IAT II/III, and TS/SCI with CI Poly eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/engineering/cybersecurity or related field.
• 5+ years in systems engineering, software or security engineering.
• 3+ years in classified or air-gapped environments.
• CompTIA Security+ certified.
• DoD IAT II/III certification (or ability to obtain).
• DoD TS with SCI eligibility and CI Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement Linux/Windows enterprise systems and secure infra.
• Support design for DARPA product capabilities; create diagrams and interfaces.
• Apply breadth across systems engineering, security, cloud, and automation.
• Act as technical authority; lead cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Develop automation and CI/CD workflows for deployment in air-gapped environments.
• Provide after-hours support and ensure documentation handoff.
