Job summary

Muehlhan Wind Service in Portsmouth, Virginia is seeking Experienced Wind Technicians for our harbor-based pre-assembly team. Candidates must have 3+ years of experience and be able to work in the US without sponsorship.

You will install, maintain, and repair wind turbine components, follow safety protocols, document tasks, and collaborate with engineers to support the offshore wind project off Virginia.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of wind technician experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the US.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Install LV and SWG platforms on weld frames as per work instructions.
• Mount vertical legs, brackets, cable trays and cabinets; install lift parts and pipes.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues and ensure proper mounting.
• Adhere to safety procedures, PPE rules and pre-job briefings.
• Document checklists, report issues, and coordinate with engineers and technicians.
