RNWBL is seeking a Lead Wind Technician to support operations and maintenance at Origin Wind Farm on the Vestas V100 turbine platform. This hands-on role requires a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, extensive wind turbine maintenance experience, and the ability to lead and develop technicians.

You will lead daily field activities, troubleshoot turbine faults, and coordinate maintenance while promoting safe work practices to improve turbine reliability and availability.

Qualifications

• Three+ years wind turbine field service experience.
• Ability to diagnose turbine faults using electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, hydraulic diagrams, and procedures.
• Ability to lead field crews, organize work, communicate clearly, and mentor technicians.
• Commitment to safe work practices and sound judgment.
• Proficiency with CMMS and maintenance reporting systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily crew activities and coordinate with Plant Manager and contractors.
• Plan preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, inspections, and component replacements.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control faults on Vestas V100 turbines using schematics and manuals.
• Provide technical direction and coaching on troubleshooting and safety practices.
• Lead pre-task planning and enforce lockout/tagout and safety rules.
• Maintain work orders, troubleshooting notes, and maintenance records in CMMS.
• Support compliance activities and on-call outages as scheduled.
