Job summary

NextEra Energy is seeking a Wind Technician III (All Levels) to support our wind sites in McCamey, TX. This non-travel role focuses on safe field maintenance, diagnostics, and reliability of wind turbine systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, electronic and mechanical systems, and contribute to safety, training, and turbine availability. Requires climb up to 300 feet and a valid non-CDL driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0+ years experience.
• Ability to climb wind turbine up to 300 feet.
• Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval required.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventative maintenance and repair on wind turbine equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain company tools and equipment.
• Complete required training on schedule.
• Support safety reporting and turbine availability.
