Job summary

Ducks Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician based out of our North Atlantic Field Office in Syracuse, NY.

The role includes surveying, drafting, and construction management for wetland restoration projects across PA and NY, with potential travel to the greater Mid-Atlantic and New England region. The successful candidate will report to the office weekly; remote candidates in PA and NY may be considered and may be asked to attend DU offices for meetings with reasonable

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Wetland experience is desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with drafting (Civil3D preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design engineers, technicians, and biologists on project tasks.
• Perform topographic surveys and AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting.
• Oversee construction contractor procurement and bidding.
• Conduct field inspections and construction management oversight.
• Represent DU with landowners and agencies.
