ERG is a research and consulting firm serving federal, state, and commercial clients. We seek an experienced environmental professional to support state and federal clients in implementing Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and related regulations in the Washington, DC area.

The role involves drafting 404 permits, managing projects, and developing tools and guidance to improve efficiency. Experience with NEPA, ESA, and coordination with the Army Corps of Engineers is highly valued.

Formación

• Accredited degree in environmental, civil, water resources engineering or natural sciences.
• At least 10 years of experience with Clean Water Act Section 404 implementation.
• Familiarity with NEPA, Endangered Species Act, Rivers and Harbors Act.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with clients and ERG's technical teams on 404 implementation for state and federal clients.
• Draft 404 permits or similar state permits for discharge of dredged or fill material.
• Manage projects, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Develop training, tools, templates, and guidance for clients to increase efficiency.
• Support regulatory development, including rule development and economic analyses.
• Cultivate relationships with state and federal customers.
