Midwest Wetland Improvements is growing our wetlands practice and seeking an experienced wetland scientist to join us for project work with flexibility in workload. You will lead delineations, evaluate mitigation and restoration sites, and guide projects through monitoring, reporting, and environmental review.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience delineating wetlands according to the Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual and the applicable Regional Supplements in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
• Experience designing wetland restorations and a working understanding of applicable regulations.
• Mitigation banking experience in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• You will run delineations, evaluate mitigation and restoration sites, and carry projects through monitoring and reporting.
• Oversee contractors and help write permits and environmental review documents that tie the work together.
• Projects will be sized to the load and built around what you are looking for, offering flexibility in commitment.
