Job summary

Micron Boise is expanding its semiconductor manufacturing footprint and seeks a Senior Wet Etch Process Engineer to start up, develop and optimize wet etch processes critical for DRAM production. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve yield, reduce costs and drive process control through data-driven methods.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, collaboration and the application of AI/automation tools for defect analysis, yield optimization, trend detection, and reporting

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Wet Etch Process ownership
• BS or MS in Engineering or equivalent experience or military experience
• Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training

Responsibilities

• Strong process area knowledge
• DRAM development and manufacturing experience
• Collaborate with equipment engineers and integrations engineers to resolve production issues
• Use project management to close yield, defectivity, production and cost gaps
• Drive improvements across SPC charts you own
