Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Senior Process Engineer (MTS/SMTS level) to lead DRAM Dry Etch development and roadmap execution. You will drive cross‑functional collaboration with integration, metrology, equipment, and R&D teams to advance manufacturability and yield ramp‑up for next‑gen DRAM devices.

You will mentor engineers, define etch technology roadmaps, and present results to executive leadership. A Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant engineering field with hands-on DRAM process experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on dry etch process development; strong record in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Proven technical leadership, cross-functional teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, characterization, and optimization of Dry Etch processes for DRAM structures.
• Collaborate with integration, metrology, equipment, and R&D teams to ensure robustness.
• Define technical roadmaps aligned with scaling, and yield improvement goals.
• Evaluate new etch chemistries, technologies, and hardware platforms.
• Mentor engineers and drive innovation with external partners.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement for process issues.
• Present findings to executives and global teams.
