This role goes beyond traditional personal training, building a rehabilitation-minded program that improves strength, balance, mobility, and quality of life through creative movement experiences.

You will work with nursing, therapy, and restorative staff, deliver one-on-one and group sessions, and help bridge discharge

Qualifikationen

• Background in senior fitness or clinical settings is preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required or current within validity period.
• Familiarity with age-related conditions such as arthritis, osteoporosis, Parkinson's, balance disorders and dementia.

Aufgaben

• Conduct individualized fitness and functional assessments to set baselines in strength, balance, flexibility, and daily living tasks.
• Design and deliver restorative programming including strength, balance, chair yoga, and therapeutic movement.
• Lead one-on-one sessions and engaging group classes for residents.
• Collaborate with nursing, physical and occupational therapy to align wellness plans.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on movement's role in healthy aging and fall prevention.
