Job summary

Fellowship Square in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a passionate Wellness Coach to design and lead personalized fitness and wellness programs for residents, building meaningful relationships and promoting strength, resilience, and joy in aging.

You will collaborate across departments, maintain progress records, and participate in ongoing staff development. The role requires a Bachelor's in Exercise Science or related field, CPT certification, and at least 3 years of senior fitness experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sport Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) credential required.
• 3+ years of experience in fitness training, preferably with seniors.
• Knowledge of aging physiology and kinesiology.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with teams; proficient in standard software.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs based on residents' goals and abilities.
• Provide hands-on instruction in exercise techniques and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Assess residents' needs and adjust programs for progress.
• Serve as a coach, motivator, and educator in health and wellness.
• Collaborate across departments to deliver a holistic wellness experience.
• Maintain records, assessments, and progress documentation.
• Participate in ongoing training and staff development.
• Promote engagement and hospitality to enhance resident satisfaction.
