Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Wellness Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents with a holistic wellness focus. You will supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants and collaborate with the Health and Wellness Director.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with current LPN license.
• At least 2 years’ experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s or other dementias.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, safety, and well-being of all residents.
• Assist in training and monitoring medication administration.
• Supervise care staff in accordance with state regulations and policies.
• Maintain clinical quality assurance according to standards.
• Promote the company’s mission and excellent service to residents.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments.
