Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Fitness Instructor (Full-Time) in California. You will develop and instruct group and individual fitness programs for residents and guests, emphasizing wellness and safety.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 1+ year experience with older adults, and First Aid/CPR. Salary ranges from $25 to $28 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Recreational Therapy, Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, or Gerontology, or the equivalent combination of work experience, required.
• 1+ years of experience in conducting older adult group activities, lesson planning, and evaluating the needs of others.
• First Aid and CPR certificates. Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive, fun, and safe atmosphere for older adults that supports Mind Body Konnection.
• Plans, coordinates, implements group fitness classes with balance/fall-prevention focus.
• Plans, coordinates, implements, and directs all aspects of personal fitness training within the community.
