Job summary
Active Wellness LLC is seeking an Engage Health & Fitness Coach to manage onboarding sessions, conduct assessments, provide personal training and health coaching in a senior living community setting in Sun City West, AZ.
You will educate residents on safe exercise, help create personalized wellness plans, sell additional sessions, and support operations with a focus on participant satisfaction and program quality.
Qualifications
- National Personal Training Certification is required.
- National Health Coach Certification is a plus.
- Degree in exercise science or related field is preferred.
- Experience with older adults in fitness setting is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Schedule onboarding sessions, health history, assessments, and equipment orientation.
- Develop Personal Action Plans including fitness, nutrition and lifestyle goals.
- Conduct personal training and health coaching sessions; upsell additional sessions.
- Maintain safe, clean fitness area and proper form for exercises; supervise equipment use.
- Engage residents, support retention and satisfaction, and coordinate with staff.
