Job summary

AUTOKINITON is seeking a robotics maintenance engineer to oversee robotic process changes, troubleshoot complex issues, and lead safety and efficiency improvements in the plant. This role reports to the Engineering Manager and collaborates with Welding, Controls, and Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in robotics, strong programming skills, and robotics certifications. Facility-based position with opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or 5+ years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on robotics experience with integration preferred.
• Certifications in robotics (programming, mechanical, electrical) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate robotic process changes and improvements in the Plant.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and program-related robotic issues.
• Perform audits on robotic equipment and programs as required.
• Ensure adherence to robotic safety procedures and setup.
• Develop robotics training programs for maintenance and support staff.
• Monitor line cycle time and machine process time in the line.
• Develop and execute process changes with cross-functional teams.
• Perform basic to advanced programming and PLC troubleshooting as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within a multi-disciplinary team.
