Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Certified Welding Inspector III to lead welding quality across projects. You will write and review welding quality plans, supervise CWIs and inspectors, and approve procedures and welder qualifications.

Preferred AWS SCWI; a CWI with 8+ years of inspection leadership will be considered. Travel and per diem apply; pay is hourly with shifts including early starts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be AWS SCWI, or current CWI with 8+ years of welding inspection leadership.
• Familiar with welding codes and inspection standards.
• Experience writing welding quality programs and supervising inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and approve welding quality plans and procedures.
• Supervise CWIs and Welding Inspectors across projects.
• Audit fabricators and weld quality systems; review inspection reports.
