Job summary

Hi-Tech Weld Overlay Group, LLC in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead welding QC across ASME boiler and pressure vessel projects. This on-site role develops, implements, and maintains QC procedures, ensuring compliance with ASME/NBIC codes, customer specs, and internal standards.

You will review procedures, supervise NDE activities, audit shop and field operations, and mentor welding and inspection personnel while partnering with project management, engineering, and safety

Qualifications

• Hands-on welding QC and inspection experience per ASME NBIC.
• Experience with ASME Section IX/I and repair welding.
• 5+ years in welding industry with management of QC/ASME tasks.

Responsibilities

• Audit job sites and shop operations for quality performance.
• Review and approve welding procedures and qualifications.
• Supervise NDE activities and document weld overlays and repairs.
• Provide training and guidance to welding and inspection personnel.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, operations and safety teams to drive continuous improvement.
