Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with emphasis in a related discipline.
• 5 years of related experience in welding, mechanical design or inspection.
• Experience developing and qualifying welding procedures and managing a welding program.
• Familiarity with ASME, API and AWS welding standards.
• Strong technical writing and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support PG&E welding programs for plant facilities and generation assets.
• Update procedures to align with latest codes and standards; develop new procedures.
• Develop and qualify welding procedures for various programs and projects.
• Provide technical support for welding activities in design, repair or replacement.
• Coordinate multiple welding and mechanical design projects and budgets.
