Qualifications

• Preferred: experience with welding specifications (commercial or military).
• Preferred: experience in an industrial welding environment, shipbuilding or heavy fabrication.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review fabrication and welding specifications for compliance.
• Maintain company standards, procedures, and best practices in welding.
• Provide technical guidance for construction support and problem resolution.
• Interact with EB offices, suppliers, and program offices as required.
• Prepare technical reports from audits, testing, and investigations.
• Travel to supplier facilities approximately 30% of the year.
