Job summary

Taco, Inc. is seeking a Senior Welder B for its Fall River, MA area production facility. The role focuses on welding tanks and heat exchanger shells using GMAW and FCAW, with fixtures and jigs guiding nozzle and component fit-up.

Requires ASME IX qualification and 2+ years of welding experience with drawings, specs, and welding equipment. This is a full-time, on-site position with a 2nd shift, hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years welding experience with drawings and specs.
• ASME IX qualification for FCAW/GMAW and SAW processes.

Responsibilities

• Welds nozzles and fittings to tanks and heat exchanger shells using FCAW/GMAW.
• Fits up nozzles or components using jigs and fixtures.
• Reads drawings and follows WPS and welding parameters.
• Monitors quality and reports equipment issues.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and complies with safety rules.
