Qualifications

• Must pass ASME Section IX welding tests.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding duties on standard and custom engineered parts.
• Fit up and fully weld heat exchangers and tanks.
• Monitor quality of work and report issues.

Skills

Proficient in FCAW/GMAW

Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) interpretation

Knowledge of shop math

Problem-solving

Ability to manage time effectively

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate of welding and fabrication vocational program

Tools

Gas metal arc welding equipment

Flux cored arc welding equipment
