Job summary

Climate Systems, LLC in Statesville, NC is seeking a detail-oriented Welder with 5+ years of fabrication experience to join our mechanical construction team. You will weld in MIG, TIG, and Stick on steel, aluminum, and stainless, read blueprints, and install metal structures.

The ideal candidate maintains safety, inspects welds, and collaborates with other trades to complete projects on time. A high school diploma is required; welding certification is a plus, and a strong commitment to quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Welding certification preferred.
• 5+ years welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick welding.
• Ability to work outdoors and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel using MIG, TIG, and Stick.
• Interpret blueprints and welding symbols to determine requirements.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install structural components and metal assemblies.
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and perform routine checks.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with other trades to complete projects on time.
• Adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
