Job summary

Climate Systems, LLC is seeking an experienced Welder to join our mechanical construction team in Statesville, NC. You will weld across steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, read blueprints, and ensure quality and safety on site.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of welding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read drawings and symbols. A welding certification is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in welding in a construction or fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Welding certification (AWS/ASME) preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel using MIG, TIG, Stick, and other methods.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install structural components and metal assemblies as required.
• Inspect welds and metal structures for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and perform routine checks and repairs; follow safety protocols.
