Job summary

Enerflex is seeking a senior-level welder in the United States to perform routine welding assignments within clearly defined processes under moderate supervision. The role requires passing 3G/6G tests, reading blueprints, and working with various welding methods to ensure quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of welding experience, can operate cutting tools, and collaborates with team to improve work processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of different types and sizes of pipe, structural and vessel materials.
• Must pass a 3G test for vessel/tower or 6G test pipe.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Weld with multiple processes including MIG, TIG, fluxcore, sub-arc or stick welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints and fit-up pipe, flanges, etc. with minimal supervision.
• Operate cutting torches; use grinders and basic cutting equipment.
• Quality x-ray and ultrasound test welds with minimum rework.
• Proficient in flame and plasma cutting torches and automated equipment.
• Promote safety, production, and a positive attitude.
• Work with team to develop improved work processes for the department.
• Occasionally operate forklifts and heavy welding tools.
