Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is seeking a Specialty Welder to complete restricted welding tests (tig & stick) and perform welding duties on tanks, vessels, and piping. Reading blueprints, taking field measurements, and ensuring workmanship meet customer specs are essential.

This role requires passing rigorous 6G/5G tests and adherence to safety and QA procedures. Welders should be able to read isometric piping drawings, apply math skills, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and isometric piping drawings.
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Fluent reading, speaking and writing English.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and weld pipe and fittings, tanks, pressure vessels.
• Read blueprints and interpret piping drawings.
• Operate mobile equipment and coordinate with supervisors.
• Maintain safety and complete Job Hazard Analysis.
• Demonstrate rigging skills and crane hand signals.
• Pass 6G and 5G welding tests with zero defects per QC Manager.
